Hunters Association Brief of Basic Constitution.

1.  NAME

1.1      The name of the Association shall be the HuntersAssociation.co.za  (hereinafter referred to as “The Association”).

2. OBJECTIVES

2.1    To Live by the Creed of the ” Hunters Heart ”

2.2    To email educational material to its members and

2.3    To promote all forms of Lawful & Ethical Hunting;

2.4    To raise funds for the furtherance of the objects contained in this clause or in terms of its constitution;

2.5    To promote the safe and responsible use of firearms;

2.6   To promote and conserve the natural environment;

3. Hunters Creed

The Hunter being United with Nature, Teaching, Encouraging, others to Restore farm lands by Sustainable

Hunting in helping our Ecosystem by killing old wild Animals, Respecting the life they gave by a Tranquil death.

4. MEMBERSHIP

4.1  There is Pro Membership, Rookie Membership and Basic Membership, upon the anniversary of the Pro and  Rookie Membership the Member will move to basic if they do not pay during the           grace period.

5. FINANCIAL YEAR

5.1    The financial year of the Association shall be from 1 March to 28/9 February of the following year.

5.2    The association will appoint a competent Accounting Officer.

6. MANAGEMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION

6.1     The C.E.O will appoint the first Executive committee to serve the members with him.

7.  POW ERS AND DUTIES

The Executive Committee shall:

7.1 Make rules for the conduct of its affairs as far as they are in line with the Constitution.

8. ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

8.1    The Annual General Meeting of the association shall be held in person or via Social Meeting. Two week notice period from CEO.

9. DISSOLUTION

9.1 Only the CEO can orchestrate the dissolution of Hunters Association.

10.  CEO CASTING VOTE

In the event of a deadlock at any meeting the CEO shall have a casting vote.

11.  AMENDMENT OF CONSTITUTION

11.1 The CEO can amend the constitution and rules of the Association with a special committee.,  in person or via Social Media.

12.  COPY CONSTITUTION AND RULES

A copy of the constitution and rules of the association, certified as such by the C.E.O  may be accepted as evidence for any purpose whatsoever.

13. CONDUCT AND DISCIPLINARY MEASURES

If a member is found guilty of misconduct relating to the fire arm act the committee shall furnish a report in such form and in such a manner as prescribed by law in respect of any member to whom the provisions of regulation 2(12) made under the Firearms Control Act 60 of 2000 and published in Government Gazette 26156 of 26 March 2004 apply. Such Membership could be terminated.
